Grants Pass Swimming – 2008

Once again this year, I was able to do pictures for the Grants Pass Swimming team. In addition to the typical portrait and team shot, I like to offer swimming photos as well. The swimmers seem to enjoy this and it makes for some exciting action photos.

My friend Sandra, a photographer from Rogue River, mentioned that the Rock Point Bridge was going to be removed next year. She uses this spot for engagement sessions and suggested I go down and take a look before it is gone. I took Abby down for a few shots and indeed it is a great place for some interesting photographs. Summer Camp

I spent this last week with Mountain Christian Fellowship’s Jr. High Camp. It was amazing to watch God work in those kids. I was blessed to be able to take photos for the Jr. Highers so that they will be able to remember their camp experience. One of the last days of camp we spent at the lake tubing – here are a couple of my favorite shots:

Missy & Brian

As I mentioned before, Brandie and Melodie invited me to shoot Missy & Brian’s wedding last weekend. The wedding took place at the Applegate River Lodge. I love this location, but I’m a little partial to it as this is where my wife and I were married seven years ago.

Because Brandie and Melodie were the official photographers, I was free to move around and capture those special moments that sometimes happen between camera clicks. In addition, since I was not the main photographer processing traditional color prints, I was able to be more creative in my digital darkroom work. As such, you will see the photos in this set are mostly B&W or Vintage.

Here are my favorites; I hope you enjoy looking at the images as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Last Day of Swim Lessons

Today was the last day of this session. Benjamin and Abigail had a wonderful time. I think this shot of Benjamin sums it up nicely:

Wedding Day

Brandie and Melodie from MD Photography were kind enough to invite me along to a wedding yesterday. What an amazing day! Here are a few shots – lots more to come.
